Part number is: 942441 Flow masters website lists this as a 40 series Delta flow 2 1/4 inch (not 2 1/2), offset in center out.

I bought this on this site about 4 years ago and never installed it. It has 3.23 gears on it and fresh bearings, I was told about 1000 miles. This is just the differential, not the whole rear housing. Asking $300 , plus shipping.

judging just from the color: black was used in factory slants from '83 on, hydraulic lifters appeared in '80. it seems to be a peanut head. I would be happy to come over and look at it and verify for you which you have. if it is indeed a solid lifter engine I may be interested in it myself. PM me:D

I pulled the valves from #6 and took some pictures. they arnt the best. the bowls could use a little work, but at least whoever did the work didn't screw it up. first two are intake, third is exhaust.

Used slant six head with the 1.77/1.44 oversize valves. shows some mild porting as well. you will want to have the valves lapped and new seals installed, but otherwise this should be ready to go. this came from a hyd. lifter truck, so you can use it on either a hydro or solid lifter engine...
