Used slant six head with the 1.77/1.44 oversize valves. shows some mild porting as well. you will want to have the valves lapped and new seals installed, but otherwise this should be ready to go. this came from a hyd. lifter truck, so you can use it on either a hydro or solid lifter engine. casting number 3698447-1. asking $750 plus shipping from las vegas.

I pulled the valves from #6 and took some pictures. they arnt the best. the bowls could use a little work, but at least whoever did the work didn't screw it up. first two are intake, third is exhaust.

still have this. after looking it over closer, and looking at the rest of the engine, it will probably need a full valve job. I don't see anything that is bent or broken, just looks like it had a lot of miles on it. $650 plus the ride. shipping figures in the $100-120 range, depending on your location.

I don't mean to insult you, but from the other /6 heads I see here and in /6.org, your price seems really high. Your description doesn't explain what makes your offering worth so much more than the others I find when I search for "/6 head".
Your pictures show what look to me like rust spots popping up here and there, making me wonder if there's rust in the valve stems and guides. I would like to have a ported and big valve /6 head, but I just can't justify your price for one that looks to need a complete rebuild.
Again, no offense intended and if you can explain away my concerns, I might be interested.

my price reflects other big valve heads I have seen and sold. I had one that sold for $700 in less than two hours. as far as the rust you see, it was fresh from cleaning. I used easy off oven cleaner and washed it off with the hose. done this way, any cracks will be immediately apparent. there were none. after about 15-20 minutes, I then sprayed it with WD40 so there is no rust on it. as stated in my last post......make me a reasonable offer, you would be surprised how flexible I am;)
