These numbers are correct for the 1965 & later cars. The 1960 through 1964 cars varied in displacement & horsepower. Corvairs are cool, another "In your face!" type of car.

I think he's looking for a cable/housing combination. That's what the RockAuto link is for. But I think RockAuto is listing an incorrect part.

I'm not sure that's the correct cable. The picture shows a screw-on connector at the transmission end. Don't the '65 & earlier cars have a different attachment?

Don't know how this will figure into all of your swapping of brakes for the later cars because my head is filled with info regarding the earlier stuff but I do know that in '73 the A body cars went to a larger upper ball joint.

I saw factory replacement vacuum canisters somewhere recently. Might have been on eBay. I remember thinking the price wasn't too bad. I'll try looking around & if I find them again I'll try to let you know.

I think it would make a difference whether it's for a truck (rear sump) or a car (center sump) oil pan, but I don't know for sure. I have a truck engine. If there's a difference then I'll need one for a car pan too.

You might keep an eye on eBay. I picked up a set of 14" wheels (I think it was 5, might have been 4, I'd have to look) a couple of years ago. I think they ended up costing me about $60 delivered, maybe just a bit more.

There is a retainer available that will bolt to the OD trans that has the 4.8" outside diameter. Brewer's sells them.

What do you mean by fender ornaments? Do you mean the trim on top of the rear fenders?
