I think those are backspacing numbers, not offset. If they were offset numbers the wheels would almost look like they came off of a dually pickup, or at the very least, a front wheel drive vehicle. :-D It's probably about a 7mm positive offset on the 6" wheel & 0 offset on the 7" wheel.

I wish you were close enough for me to pick them up. I could use something like that to roll my car around on in my shop.

Went to the Centerline site & they no longer list an 8" wheel in this style. Is there a chance this is an 8.5" wheel? They list that in a 4 7/8" backspace.

I need a spare tire hold down bolt, washer, & wing nut for an early A. Don't know if it's different than others. Also need battery hold down stuff for the same car.

I just looked at the Centerline site. The 7.5" wheel is only available with a 5" backspacing. You'd probably want the offset spring hangers.

They're still available new. I bought a set of 4 through Summit a while back. Otherwise I'd be thinking about these.

You didn't say you had them but if you find some in your stash I'm interested in '64 Barracuda front & rear rechromed bumpers.

Unless they're a lot deeper dish than I can tell from looking at the pics, those look like what Cragar called a "Standard" offset. About 4 1/4" or maybe a bit more backspacing IIRC.

Pretty sure the fill tube is vented so you don't need to worry about the cap. To the best of my knowledge, the flip top caps aren't vented.

If it can be made to work with the cap that says "FUEL" then put me on the list for your next run of adapters. I'm pretty sure it should work. I had a friend who took a "FUEL" cap off of a '69 Barracuda & put it on a '74 Challenger. But I think the original Challenger caps flip the opposite...

What keeps gas from leaking between the adapter & the original filler pipe and running down the side of the quarter panel (Like my stock cap! :angry7: ) if it sloshes up the tube? Maybe some sealer should be used? Just wondering.
