    I have a set of Nitto Drag radials I need to finish off. They are low mile units that rubbed some on the Challenger so they were pulled off. 275/6015 ran high 11s on the Challenger.

    My buddy’s totally stock Duster 340 is maybe a high 13 second car on a good day. Sure if your running stock eliminator and have slicks a gear 12s are possible with work. I was riding around last weekend in it.

    Idk they ran 13s when new, that’s what mine ran mid 13s stock. Ran 11s stock pocket ported heads, stock block, stock crank, and stock rods, probably run high 10s in my Dart or any decent A body. I’d say that’s pretty good.

    the truth/opinions about cams

    I’ve had good luck with Lunati voodoo cams, a lot of duration at .050 short overall in most street applications. My wife’s runs 11s it’s a summer daily driver. A custom ground cam is almost always the best option with a trusted friend grinder.

    Pretty quick. People don’t realize. I remember the 7.70 days on a 245/6015 M&H race masters dot junkers. Picked up 2-3 tenths with a bigger tire, nothing else. Still spun. J heads they were water sprinklers.

    It didn’t cost near that to run at the time. It was a Sunday drive, with 1 full bottle of nos, a few gallons of av gas mixed with premium. Beer Maybe 80-100 Total cost, entry was the same as admittance.
