    8 3/4 axle strength

If you're breaking a Dana, you don't need to be around cars. Might wanna try 4 wheeling in trucks/jeeps with Rockwell axles (front and rear) in them. You might have better luck that way. If by some astronomical chance you do break a Rockwell axle, you might wanna find a different hobby. Just...

    Front chin spoiler

A chin spoiler will serve one or two purposes depending on where you mount it. If you mount if under the rad support, it will force air up and into the radiator. If you mount it under the bumper it will help prevent air from going under the car. With all that said you can (depending on your fab...

    8 1/4 vs. 8 3/4

Install a Rockwell rear and be done, you'll never have to worry about breaking one of those! If by chance you do happen to break a Rockwell, you might wanna rethink this hobby/interest, just sayin

    Drag Racing is Dying

If you ever get a chance to ride in a skyline gtr go for it. Might give you a new look at things. But I will agree that I absolutely hate front wheel drive.

    Drag Racing is Dying

There is more to life than a straight line down the track. Everybody has their own tastes when it comes to racing. I can't stand NASCAR in anyway shape or form. Drag racing kind of the same thing, I'm just no into pure drag race cars. I'm more into I drive to work everyday in this car and on the...

Sorry I forgot all about that, here you go. I only have a couple of pictures of it because when I sell vehicles, the new owner gets everything I have for it parts, manuals, pictures, everything.

    mazda 8

What appears to be stock may not be. My 2002 Nissan Skyline GTR V-Spec 2 Nur model looked stock but made 250HP per wheel (it's an AWD car) and would wipe the floor with anybody who wanted a taste so to speak. Oh if you wanna race him take it to the track, no amount of pride is worth the risk of...

Gas Tank/sump - will it pass tech?

A baffled gas tank will solve all your problems

Gas Tank/sump - will it pass tech?

Why not just run an in tank pump and a fuel tank that has baffles in it. Problems solved.

    Roller cam opinions

I love roller cams! You wanna go solid or hyd (I have a hyd roller in my 340)? Just both check the gear on the cam and get the correct intermiate shaft gear as well. Do know that you'll have to open up the pushrod holes to make it work.

TX2K 2014 - what is up with this Duster?

Info, yea it's got massive turbo on it. Anyone else notice the ford gt with name mullet next to it?
  18. 1970Duster

    What cam would you run?

You wanna go flat or roller? Remember a roller brings you into the power curve sooner and keeps you there longer vs a flat tappet cam

what front disc setup do you use?

There is also a pin type caliper. Or you could always throw on a set of viper calipers.
  21. 1970Duster

what front disc setup do you use?

Just use the a 77+ b body caliper (it's a bolt on deal). Why you ask? It has a bigger piston in than the 73 models.

    edelbrock vers mopar alluminum heads

The max lift on an eddy head is .575". I have eddy heads and the roller cam I'm using is @50 231/239 .535/.550 and this is in the 60779 closed chamber head.

    edelbrock vers mopar alluminum heads

To put it bluntly the W series rules all that said unless you're balls out racing a set of Eddys will be just fine (it what is on my 340). But if you want more than eddy and don't mind cast iron try the RHS head (will out flow x heads all day) or a set of W2. Hell the more I think about I might...

best body for road race setup

You can use a duster, just put a direct connection style rear spoiler on. Those increase down force.

    Windage tray

First off I hope you have a FORGED eagle crank, otherwise....boom. A crank scraper will do a much much better job than a windage crank. That said if you a drag racing the car put a few baffles in the pan or use the milodon road race oil pan.
