Still working my way through tracking down a few leaks on my 71 Dart. Much to my surprise I have ruled out the wiper gasket seals - they are not leaking. I've got a fair amount of leaking from my firewall gaskets. I have seen some kits recommended on other threads like this one...

Can someone confirm what emblem I need for the trunk on my 71 Dart swinger? There are 3 holes and I've been told it's a "DODGE" but other places are indicating it's a "DART". ?? thanks!

cool thanks. I wound up using some high flow silicone and it worked great. Just cleaned out a little of the old stuff and put some of this stuff in each corner - no more leak! (for now) Darcy

I've got a very small leak in both corners of the rear window on my 71 dart - what are my options to fix this? Do you have to take the entire window out and re-seal it or can I try to seal it with something without removing the entire window. Thanks!

The paint on my dart is overall in excellent condition. However, the previous owner left me a couple spots of filler (maybe six inches each) and a few areas where he took a little sand paper to it and scuffed up several square feet on the top. The trunk lid also needs to be completely repainted...

I'm thinking I may want to strip my trunk lid since it has a lot of tiny blisters. See photo. The spots aren't rust, just primer showing through. Just seems to me that there's obviously something wrong with the original paint job on this lid and maybe just starting over with bare is the best...
