Called Northern and I need a cap with a neck seal deeper down. Ordered the correct cap. Thanks for the reply's. You guys rock! Fred B

What cap would I need?

I have a Summit cross flow radiator which is stamped as a Northern radiator. I have had this for several years. Since I bought this most of the caps I tried leaked right between the cap and rad neck. I did have a NAPA cap that seemed to work but not any more. What could be causing this problem...

It's correct for 340's. If you are talking left side the driver side. My 69 had it on the left side. All 68 and up 340's I have seen on the drivers side. Fred B

What is the difference between a vented and non vented cap. I bought a chrome cap and it wouldn't work. When the pressure got up it started leaking under the cap. I thought it was the stock radiator. But when I bought my aluminum rad it did the same thing. I put on the vented stock cap and it...
