Not quite sure what you are trying to say here...but code "999" means special order paint color, it could basically be any color the buyer wanted it to be, it was extra cost. Further more, in the chip color charts Dodge and Plymouth offered three colors as "special order" which were Orange...

Very interesting...Nice car! I have to say that I haven't seen another '69 A body in Butterscotch. All the ones I've seen were B bodies. I only have the breakdown for 1970-73 on the High Impact colors. Your paint code on tag and build sheet listed as "999"?

Your fender tag shows a very nicely optioned car. Buckets, console, deluxe woodgrain interior, dual painted racing mirrors (dr.remote), drip rail mouldings, stripes (side and rear). I'm decoding it as black/white bucket seats "L6XW", which is kinda odd. Good luck with the sale!

That's the same Duster, that is advertised on Pantherpink.com? My breakdown for FM3 340 Duster for 1970 shows; 24,817 total, 11,008 with auto trans. 1.9% of production was FM3 Moulin Rouge, for a total of 209 units. Which is a really low number in itself.
