Hi! your car could be the twin to mine, i have a 1968 2dr in WW1 (same colour...white). The carpet was optional in the basic trim, mine has got a rubber mat from the factory. There should be either the rubber mat or a carpet. The Wheels could be original, stock tire size was 6.50-13 as far...

    '69 Valiant 2DR Project

Hi, cool car, sounds like a good plan. I swapped my /6 904 7.25" Drivetrain to a 408 727 and a Ford 8.8.....built all by myself. Only thing i dislike is the huge and heavy 727 Trans, if i have the chance to get a SB 904 i´ll overhaul it with some goodies and put it in. Have fun! Michael

    The valiant

sounds good.....i use the same block with same heads, slightly less CR and less Camshaft (10:1. 242/236°@.050")....the torque of yours is great! I´d think the peak power would be higher in the rpm range with this cam? Anyway, it´s a nice combination that you´ll enjoy. I use the same gears, PB so...
