Brake Booster For 1971 Plymouth Duster

I'd add the booster and make sure yoiur master has a smaller bore I'd go with a 1 Inch bore. the adjustable would only benefit you if you are having problems with the rear brakes locking up before the front brakes lock up. Skip the adjustable and instal the booster and a small bore master.

What brake line set should I buy 71 or 73

the brake line sets for a 70 and a 73 are almost exactly the same except for the amout of spiral spring around the line itself. But I would use the 73 set and there is no difference in manual or power prop valves. they are the same.

    disc brake pre72/post73 proportioning valves

The same valve was used for disc brake A body cars from 71 to at least 1975. Youll have no problems using the later valve on a early car. This is a 71 and later disc prop valve for a body cars in the pic. kelsey hayes brakes were used till 72 and then the single BBP started in 73.

    power brake vacuum

Im thinking the cam has reduced the amout of vacuum you have and the booster doesnt get the nessasary assist it is designed for. Typically vacuum needs to be in the 15 inch range. A quick fix might be to try a smaller bore master cylinder. A manual brake Master should have a bore size of 15/16...
