    MOPAR Dead?

You can't drive to the store without seeing a number of modern Challenges and Chargers. Nothing like the look and sound of an R/T Scat Pak. Damn, I'd own one if I could. For the life of me i can't understand why they would discontinue those two cash cows. Maybe political pressure???

    Need help 1965 Barracuda 273 2bbl carb

Are you looking to keep it original? If you just want to get it running and have fun driving it, post an ad for a 2 bbl carb and like @Dana67Dart said, a good muffler/exhaust shop can get you fixed up there. Those factory NOS resonators are high dollar. With my 66, I kept it looking...

    Removing my 273 engine

I don't think you have to remove the center link. But like TB said, it's not difficult to drop. If pulling out the top definitely pick up one of these, especially if you're doing it by yourself.

Anyone seen this on a 66 Dart?

Maybe because it's an original Air Conditioned car??

    PowerSteering

What @Dartnut said. The control valve adjustment on mine was very, very sensitive. Just a couple thousands of an inch will cause a big change. Do not have your hands inside the steering wheel.

    PowerSteering

I would call them. Steer and Gear did mine, but since Firm Feel is in Vancouver, I would call and ask.

    PowerSteering

Give Firm Feel a call, they are in Vancouver.

    PowerSteering

I also had Steer and Gear rebuild both my steering gear and pump. Happy with everything except the cost. Lol. Just kidding...you get what you pay for.

Power Steering hose for '65 273 Barracuda

I took my leaking pressure hose off my 66 Barracuda 273 to a local hydraulic shop. They made a replacement for $50 and hasn't leaked since i got it 4 or 5 years ago.

Windshield wiper refills for 64 Barracuda?

I found 13" blades for my 66 Barracuda..... ......believe it or not...... on Walmart.com. All kinds of vendors sell their wares there. Edit: they were New Old Stock and had that white powder covering from the old rubber breaking down...but they fit, lol.

It was painful after investing so much, for sure!

Early Abody Doug’s 450 header install BEFORE engine going in

Hey JD. I cut mine before installing. I'm not sure the drivers side could be installed without cutting. Man, it's tight in there, especially with a dual master cylinder and power steering. Here's my driver's side when I still had the Commando valve covers. Sure wish I would have kept them!!

Early Abody Doug’s 450 header install BEFORE engine going in

I took my time, cleaned them real good, followed the instructions of the "high temp paint"...but nooooooo, just flaked right off, lol.

Early Abody Doug’s 450 header install BEFORE engine going in

AJ, those early A headers have slip joints and flanges. I think you'll be fine putting them together laying them in, just like you would manifolds. As long as the steering column and torsion bars are out/slid back. AJ, here's a pic when I was painting mine. Which lasted about 10 minutes...

    Voltage regulator location 1966 dart

Yep, what he said. Here a pic I found online. Hard to see but it in the general area. Do a search on here for testing voltage regulators.

    early A-body Power steering

If that doesn't work, you may send your original gearbox (if you still have it) to Steer and Gear or Firm Feel. I had Steer and Gear rebuild my original 66 gearbox and pump. I got the "sport" feel. It's much closer to a modern feel.

    Early A-Bodies

That's what this hobby is all about!!! I took the wife and grandson to a farm today to buy a pumpkin, then drove around town, stopped at Walmart and a convenience store. A girl working at the farm took a picture of my car, a husband and wife stopped me at Walmart to talk and four guys...

    Early A-Bodies

Hey @Swinger 340! We're transplants to Rome. Moved here 5 years ago. We do some cruise-ins and we put our car in "Cars on Broad" / Fiddlin' Fest 3 or 4 years ago. Mostly we just cruise around town. I haven't heard of "Max" but I stopped and talked to "Mopar Frank" in Summerville. The dude...

    Early A-Bodies

Today me and the wife and grandson go for a drive. On the way home we stop by a meat market. For a little town like Rome, they sell great meat. So we park and before we even get out of the car a truck pulls in and the guys yells hey, is that a 65? Said he was driving the opposite...

    Early A-Bodies

I generally get several folks stopping to look an in an excited voice say something like "man, my buddy used to pick me up for school in one of these"!! Or "this is really cool. Don't see these around much"! At a typical cruise-in at the Burger King I rarely get a chance to sit down as...

    Difference between oil pans

I just had a look at my 66 with a 5.9 pan. The oil pan overlaps like the first picture of your last post, but it is roughly 3/4" above the K-frame. I use biscuit mounts. Mine was the same when I had a 273 bolted up.
