Thoughts on Drum to Disc Conversions…

I had a 67 Dart with 10 " manual drums. I converted to the factory style 73 - 76 style power discs. Car stopped great and it was my favorite upgrade I did to the car. I've always preferred power brakes and I was not disappointed. Plus you can get new rotors, rebuilt calipers, and new brake pads...

1969 Barracuda fastback parking brake cables

I sent the car to him as a bare shell. The parking brake assembly was very rusted and trashed so when I removed it I threw it all away. Does your car have the 3 cable system as well?

1969 Barracuda fastback parking brake cables

I need to order new parking brake cables for my 69 fastback Barracuda. Classic Industries says there are 2 different setups for 67-74 A bodies but I don't know which one my car came with. One setup is 4 cables which is 1 front, 1 intermediate, 2 short equal length rear cables and a long...

    Parking brake cables

Mine is a 69 but would like to know from people that have one which setup they have. Would like to see a pic or diagram of an intermediate cable set up. Classic industries catalog implies car could have either but I have no idea.

    Parking brake cables

I do, but the left side has a tube in it let the cable pass through it. If you don't know what the car had from the factory how can you tell which set you need since apparently both configurations were used? Are there different brackets or can they be used interchangeably if starting from scratch?

    Parking brake cables

I have a 69 Barracuda fastback that is a painted shell. Was going to order new parking brake cables for it but saw you can order a complete set with or without an intermediate cable. How do I know which set to order? Didn't know they came two different ways. Where is the intermediate cable...

Brake hoses for 73 - 76 k frame disc brakes

That may be what is happening here with the suspension at full drop, that didn't occur to me. I just thought aftermarket cut corners and made it too short. Will try the Camaro ones and if they are long enough at full drop then I know they will be good.

Brake hoses for 73 - 76 k frame disc brakes

Do they have a banjo fitting that will take the factory bolt? Don't know anything about them. Is it a camaro ss hose specifically? Sorry for all the questions.

Brake hoses for 73 - 76 k frame disc brakes

I have a 67 Dart that I installed a 73-76 k frame with same year spindles and calipers mounted in the front like factory. I got brake hoses for a 76 Dart and they are too short. In one direction they are fine but the other it definitely puts a strain on the hose. I flipped it over but same...

    73-76 factory disc brake calipers

Do the Camaro brake lines you mentioned fit better than 73-76 a body brake lines? Don't understand why not to use proper 73-76 a body lines with the same year k frame, spindles, calipers, upper and lower control arms, sway bar, and calipers located in factory position.

    73-76 factory disc brake calipers

I left out some info. 67 Dart but put 73-76 k frame in so everything will be mounted in 73-76 factory locations.

    73-76 factory disc brake calipers

I'm upgrading my drum brakes to 73-76 a body discs using 76 calipers. Aren't these calipers left and right handed? Parts store computer catalog said left or right listed for one part number yet listed 2 different part numbers. I ordered 1 of each part number to get what I think are left and...

    A body rear brake hose

Went to install new rear brake hose, hose did not come with a washer, put a generic parts-store copper washer on threaded end that screws into brass tee on axle. Tightened down but threads bottomed out before washer was compressed onto the tee. There is about an 1/8" gap left. Is there a special...

Hi Everybody, new member here. Great site. Can anyone tell me for sure if the 67 PB booster on a bodies was the same style as 68-69, or was it a larger unit? Anyone know what the finish was on it, whichever style it was? Thanks.
