High-zinc oil or ZDDP oil additives?

Joe Gibbs Driven HR5 is going in my 67 Barracuda. I've used Napa and Valvoline with zink additive the last 3 years. But I never let the oils in any of my vehicles get black. When it starts to turn dark that's when I change it. I keep clean oil. I'm gonna try the JG stuff to see how it does.

how much cfm in a carb should I be looking for?

408 stroker 2800 243 HP and 458 LBS Torque..4200 RPM 406 HP 510 Torque. 5700. 492 HP and 442 LBS Torque. And I'm running a Holley 670 street avenger per engine builder. There's times I think about a bigger carb. But except for some idle adjustment I think it does pretty good.

Relocating Oil filter when using TTI 1 7/8 headers

Actually I didn't know if it was needed or not. I thought about doing it so I wouldn't drip oil on my headers when I changed my oil. Thats the only reason I was gonna do it.

Relocating Oil filter when using TTI 1 7/8 headers

Just wanted to get some input from anybody that has TTI 1 7/8 headers, on where they relocated their oil filter. This is on a 1967 Barracuda 408 stroker. I don't have headers on yet. But thought I would ask.

    Indy 415 Small Block

You know actually what counts is that the person getting the engine built is happy with what work he has done, be it 500.00 or 1500.00. I agree with you on that.. Hopefully mine will be done in about a month or so.

    Indy 415 Small Block

If your block work is gonna cost over a grand somethings wrong. ( Now I might have to do some rechecking on that cause it seems like all my quotes for my 408 were around 500.00 on the block work and this is good quality work) check out Rob Robinsons post on his 416 engine build......Also it...

    Indy 415 Small Block

No offense taken but I'm curious..Why wouldn't it work? I mean yea, you could spend more if you wanted to. But I fail to see why a decent engine should cost 7,000.
