When I was running those MP valve covers, right at the corner where the distribution sits would hit causing the gasket to not fit correct. I trimmed that corner down some and it help with the leaks. Fyi I was running the thick gel pro rubber gaskets

Thanks it was just a stock stroke 440 with EZ-1 heads, I sold that car for a B body

Ez-1 heads no problem with plug acess

Not sure of the budget your wanting to stay in and maybe overkill but TTI makes headers for BB a bodies and no cutting of your inner fenders and get tire clearance as Well
