What temp is the motor? What temp rating is the thermostat? If the temp of the motor is not higher than the rating on the thermostat then it is not opening to circulate the cooled water in the radiator. Which is not a bad thing

Hey Rani, Just to let you know the rear defroster doesn't heat the air before blowing it out. It just blows out what ever temp the air is already.

Was there a hole behind where the coil is mounted? If so its an air car if not that it is a non air car A/C controls will work in a non air car with just a heater

look at passenger side firewall. It will have both a spot for heater hoses and the a/c lines like mine. Look just under the fender brace on the left Non air and air cars both had the tubes closest to the wiper motor

Put a 195 in a what I think is mostly stock 340 in my duster and it keeps cool even when just sittin and idlin for 10-15 mins

I bought a factory one with no cracks for 4 bucks shipped and it was nicely cleaned up. If wanted new would need to find nos. It says dont fill cause once its in the bottle it wont ever go back in the radiator
