    Billet Specialties Thermostat Housing?

I’ve never used an o-ring housing, but I did switch from the paper gaskets to a reusable silicone gasket and that solved my leak issues. Thermostat Housing Gasket - MOPAR V-8 ENGINES - Part # RG-53063 SILICONE | eBay

    Insulating cab

I used the same sound deadening “insulation” on the roof as I used on the floor. I believe it was Siless brand, similar to the kilmat that RRR used. I only had two sheets left, and used it more to take away the tin can sound of the roof and really didn’t expect any thermal improvement, but as...

    Coolant recovery tank on fender

I know this is an old post but I remembered this morning that you’d found an oem reservoir that fit good. Found this post about the shipping from delray Hyundai, checked it out and it’s still the cheapest place I could find for shipping on the bracket. $10 shipped. Thanks Matt!

    Slider knobs ideas?

Thanks for looking! I’ll post an ad in the wanted section.

    Slider knobs ideas?

Yeah I spent probably about an hour last night googling and searching eBay for any reproductions and there’s nothing specifically for Mopar’s. They do make some for 69-70 mustangs so if push comes to shove, I’ll give those a shot.

That’d be great! If not, I’ll throw up a wanted ad and see if anyone has some. Thanks!

    Slider knobs ideas?

So, I’m sure I’m not the only one, but my heater controls in my Duster are missing the knobs on the sliders. Anyone find knobs off something else that works? Or maybe modify/make something that works? TIA

    The 'New' Champion 374

Ok so I just measured and mine is in fact 23 5/8” from the bottom to the top of the radiator cap. When I installed it, I put a chunk of play-do on the cap and carefully closed the hood. I had 3/4-1” clearance.

    The 'New' Champion 374

I “believe” I have the taller version in my Duster and it cleared with 3/4-1” to spare. If I remember, I’ll measure it tomorrow and let you know for sure.

    22” or 26” Champion ? Can’t decide

I’ve got the CC374B in my Duster. The bottom of the radiator is about 3/8-1/2” off the lower support and I still have 3/4-1” clearance between the cap and hood

    22” or 26” Champion ? Can’t decide

I also went 26” in my Duster. I drilled 2 holes in my lower radiator support and put in some hood bump stops from an 02 Corolla for the radiator to sit on. I’m running a solid mount fan with no shroud (yet) and this summer, sitting in a drive through for 15 minutes, it didn’t go over 195*

    That was easy!

No if only someone would send me a heater core for Christmas..... :D I've got a few projects to do on my Duster this winter but gotta wait till we get some income again after New Years... Haven't gotten a pay check since September so no money for car parts right now....

    Fan shroud questions.

One thing I didn't think about until you mentioned it got a little wrinkly is the fact that if you get a t-shirt wet it can stretch fairly easily, when you wash it and it dries it goes back to normal but since you made it wet with resin it may have stretched a little and can't return to normal...

This is the route in planning to go as well. Hopefully get one built this fall/winter. I think I'm gonna cover the wood in wax paper b4 I stretch the fabric over it tho so it doesn't stick

This is the exact one I got from this seller. It is however a cc374b. Was the best deal I'd found https://www.ebay.com/itm/322188482879

    Radiator recommendations

I've got the cc374b champion radiator. The cc374b is what they sell now I stead of the cc374. If you can get a true cc374 you'll be fine height wise. Mine was advertised on eBay as a cc374 but when I got it it was a cc374b, I notified the seller that he should specify that as the cc374b is...
