What’s going on in this area? You can see it in the 8:55-9:20 section of your video. Looks like it’s cracked bad and about to come loose but I’m sure it’s not as bad as it looks or you’d probably have grabbed another head from the junkyard.

You wouldn’t happen to have a video of the truck idling while you still had the jegs mufflers on it would you? I’ve got the same mufflers and just got the same cam grind from Oregon. Also, what valve springs did you run?

So from reading through this thread, when I take my bare SM heads to the machine shop to have them install the valves/springs, I should just go ahead and have them check/machine the rocker arm stands as well?

Well... still haven’t received my rocker arms and they’re still out of stock. Tried calling Speedmaster yesterday and coined the get through to anyone. Need to try again. *EDIT* just got off the phone with Speedway and they haven’t received info from their supplier when the roached shafts will...

I got my heads pretty quickly. Still waiting on my rocker arms. I need to call them today.

Yeah it’s surprising that Wracks car wasn’t included. That said, these photos may have all been taken Friday. Wracks was only there Saturday. I remember seeing the red Duster but I never did get a chance to go check it out or talk to the owner.

Just called speedmaster and was able to order the PCE stainless rocker arms with the 40% off sale, they just won’t ship until they’re back in stock (expected to be 30-60 days)
