I used Cipher CPA1013 seats and cut those ugly shoulder bolsters off and recovered them.

I have used Herbs paints a few times and wash them with Dawn soapy water, then wipe them with Acetone or Lacquer thinner before paint and it has never given me any issues.

You could always call Herb's and order some blue interior paint. I had a couple cans for a B-5 interior it it was a perfect match.

I installed on about a year ago, I ordered it uncovered and installed it with the dome light, sun visors ...etc. I needed to trim back around the front and rear window then had it covered with my own material. It fits nice now but if you don't trim it the windshield gaskets doesn't lay flat.

You are correct I just installed these last month in my 73, very simple install and they work great.

Wouldn't it be easier to swap out the 2 speed motor with a 3 speed wiper motor ?

Or a Dodge dealer with a tape measure.

Maybe 1172 GOLD (1967-1969) or 1194 SADDLE (1969).

I did take some pictures but when I looked at them on the computer all I saw was a sea of Black with no real detail visible so I deleted them....sorry

I installed the new style a few months ago, I bought mine uncovered and pre-fit it before having it covered. I had to trim it around the edges to get it to tuck under the window seals.

I went a different direction and made mine out of 16 Gauge steel with a 1/4" step in it and painted it to match the exterior.

The holes/cutouts were already precut...as were the upper shoulder seat belt bolt holes. The rear view mirror was not precut.

I installed one a month or so ago, I needed to trim the corners to get it to fit a little better. As far as holding it in, the front and rear glass windshield seal, sun visors, and dome light hold it in along with the side trim.

Any reputable upholstery shop will be able to add foam and either add a pre made seat cover from someone like legendary or make one from scratch. I'd ask them before you buy to see what they prefer, either way the foam is the easy part especially on a rear seat once you find a local shop.
