i think he ment port flow and or intake manifold flow as he is running a carb on it.

do you have a holley 850 you can throw on it, maybe with that as it is or adding a 50cc pump would fix your issue

thats where im coming from, im used to gen II's with mag crossrams so its as close to apples to apples as i can get. we run the original style 770's on the crossram and there are no issues anywhere, from a 426" motor to a 605 we have built. he may be correct that little carb just isn't keeping...

could be not enough converter or gear, how about some specs?

bingo... dyno vs real world is apple and oranges... its about as useful as a desktop dyno, gets you in the ball park. boy that a real bummer OP. does it look like a sleeve will be needed?

it would be easier to put the spacers under the k memeber and keep the engine in the same place... like the original SS hemi cars did...

if i remember ign I is blue or blue with a white line, Ign II ( or Ballast By-pass) is brown... during cranking the ign I is shut off in Favor of Ign II to by-pass the ballast so the ign coil gets the full 12 volts... nice set up... and clean!

the exact thing happened with chrysler when they were making there own hemi gen II hemi heads... seats were FALLING out of them... greg has two motors to prove it... this was before they signed to have Eddy make there heads... and for the money they charge just get the stage V's...
