Dont bother cleaning them up. I know a few guys that spent timing trying to port then and spent money on extrude honing them only to run the same numbers after. Not worth the investment

I have the Pypes system on my car. It sounds good but its pretty mellow.

Love the flowmaster tone but they arent the best flowing. Most glass packs are junk. Whats more important to you, Tone or flow ? The hookers are probably the best flowing and the quietest out of those 3.

TTIs cleared the column shift in my 71 Scamp no problem. Doughs should be the same. I believe they are the same design.

They dont look like super comps to me. They certainly dont look like early A headers

The driver side LA manifolds are all the same. Passenger side from 71-76 is a more restrictive center dump.

I have Pype Street Pros on my car Stock manifolds 2.5", X pipe to the bumper. Its pretty quite.

I love the sound of Flowmaster but they are one of the worse flowing mufflers out there. Running the exhaust all the way back will kill some of the sound. A straight through muffler like the Dynomax Ultraflows will flow better.

A Road Runner never would have had a 318 but looking at the casting numbers online the same ones are listed for small block a and b bodies.

what are the casting numbers ? They will probably fit.

Its not really that hard to get those headers in and out. You just need to pull some of the uspension out of the way, drop the T-bars and pull the column. Whats that take ? 20-30 minutes ? I even pull the t bars when I do TTIs just to the extra room.

I agree with George. TTIs or Dougs may fit better and look nicer but I dont think you will see a difference in power to make the swap worth it.

3" is over kill for anything with less then 500hp.

cheap headers and cheaper glass packs. The headers are the same design most companies use on there cheaper street headers.
