Best Air Shocks for Raising Back end?

I too agree with the spring needing to be the adressed area and to get rid of the air shocks. I'm a total cheap skate, and on my Challenger the rear tires lack just enough back space, so the tires would just rub the fender lip. The thought of those air shocks bleeding out and cutting a tire at...

68’ barracuda tear down and rebuild suspension Q’s

I have done a kit from PST for my Challenger, and it cam pretty complete, i don't recall needing anything additional for the install, but what I did learn was I should have bought offset ball joints, as I could get close but not enough camber for a "modern" alignment if I remember correctly...

1970 Dart Manual Steering-Car jerks left and right when trying to drive straight...

Has the steering box been out or replaced? I had the 4 mounting screws come loose in my Challenger when I swapped from power to manual and would do the same.

    Upper Control Arm Camber Bolts

I literally just got done with mine. One of the single biggest pains in the rear ever. I spent FOREVER using the Milwaukee "torch" blades in my sawzall. I need torches. Also as stated NO AMOUNT of PB blaster, Kroil oil or ATF and acetone "home brew" was helping. I tried for a week The "front"...

UCA "ring" for bushing... how important?

OK stock 67 Barracuda original drum brakes Doing a front end overhaul including bushings. So I am doing one side at a time and have the passenger side out. On the upper control arm on the inside of the arm on the backside where the bushing is pressed in, there is/was an extra "ring" that seemed...

Leaking PS gear box at top-need help

For my 67 273 I did manage it in car with not much problem. Trying to recall correctly I believe the return valve is mounted with a couple of "low head" bolts and I took my time to keep from rounding them off. I just used the closed end of a typical box wrench. Good luck... wish I had done...

Leaking PS gear box at top-need help

Dummy me.. there are 2 o rings in that little piece. I did run to the hardware store after checking for any possible small/hairline cracks. i used #67 13/16" OD by 11/16" ID 1/16" thick and #6 7/16" OD by 5/16" ID 1/16" thick. They both seem to have done it. Thanks for the input!!

Leaking PS gear box at top-need help

I feel silly such a thing as a leak is stumping me but I need some help... Attached is a pick of the leaky area. It's the little cast aluminum piece on the low pressure side that bolts to the steering gear itself. I've always had a slow leak, and wanted to get this done. After removing...

    leaf spring help

I too ran the XHD springs on my 67 notch and, while I like the "raked" look they were too damn high. I put them in summer last year, hoping to lose at least an inch myself, otherwise I'm looking at adding the 1" block to drop as well. Finally starting to thaw here and hope for some drive time.

Power to Manual Steering How To?

All items as said above. I did the same conversion on my Challenger, was lucky enough to get a used steering box with a good pitman arm on it. Then used Burning River power to manual steering shaft conversion piece.
