    Buying a car from Canada

I just brought my Barracuda from Canada to the USA. It was previously noted that any car over 25 years old is no problem at all. You do not have to be concerned with Canadian Customs at all. You will have to fill out some paperwork for US Customs to import the vehicle. They will verify that...

    Behold! MMG's New Ride.

That is a very nice ride, even more so than what you described over the telephone. You will definitely have to behave with the throttle or you will never be able to pass a gas station. Enjoy!!

Going back to "Old School" exhaust.

Nice and clean. Very sharp indeed. 8) Is everything as perfect as you want on this car now?

Viper engine and transmission in my 1974 Dart Swinger

That would be interesting and would look a lot like the 360 Modena, if you do not mind the Ferrari reference. The puns can use a little bit of work, however.

    Sandblasting

The guy who showed me how to run the unit warned me about that. I had the transmission lower access cover there and I held the hose up as high as I could. I had to turn the part over and reshape the metal a bit. It is minor and I will be able to gently flatten it out before re-installing it...

    Sandblasting

Well, I am kicking myself for not locating Consolidated Compressor in Calgary before today. I took a number of parts in and used one of their outdoor sandblasting stations. I cannot believe that I was actually trying to grind and buff (wire brush) parts clean, The outdoor stations have enough...

    Anyone using Taylor Spiro-Pro wires?

I just got an e-mail from Summit, announcing a discount on this brand of plug wires. They are 10% off right now but this is a short term offer.

    selling to canadians

I believe I have answered my own question and I want to share my new information with other readers. There is a company called Montana Shipping Outlet and they have facilities in Sweet Grass, MT and Eureka, MT. Sweet Grass is appropriate for Albertans and Eureka is for the BC interior...

    selling to canadians

That is a great concept! Are there any Albertans who have heard of something like this, say in the Shelby, MT area?

    selling to canadians

You are correct in this matter. If the parts were made in the USA, there should also be no duty on them. Try to send them via USPS at all times, per discussion in another forum on this topic. It makes them a lot cheaper to bring in, despite how slow Canada Post is.

    Happy Easter

Today is one of the most important days that everyone should really forget about the world outside their respective homes and focus on the good that we have with our families. We will have a quiet day at home, watching Ben Hur on DVD this afternoon. We were guests at a fantastic gathering of...

    just need to vent....

The more you worry about it, the worse it becomes. The harder you try to please someone, the more they take advantage of you and the downward spiral continues. Look after yourself first. Besides, once you can go cruising in a restored vehicle on a nice day, you get to enjoy the effort put in.

    Have I De-masc-u-lated Myself?

You have a great start with that car. No man is emasculated if he is willing to restore a Mopar. It is a more constructive and less expensive way to offset a mid-life crisis than having an affair. (Just do not throw that concept at your wife in the middle of an argument or she may pull a...

First Drive Around The Block (video)

Sigh... My 68 notchback has sat patiently in the garage for 20 years and I am only starting to get serious about it. Being out of work stinks because I cannot spend much money on my baby but dreaming a bit while doing major clean-up helps keep my spirits up. Bravo for your accomplishments...

Thanks for posting the ABS web site. I think they will be helpful for my '68 notchback fish.
