    318/8 Speed Swap

I called JVX the other day to talk about the conversion kit. The gentleman there said the flexplate comes neutral balance but that they could do any balance that you wanted (ie. LA 360 or Magnum 360) for an additional $80. I forgot to ask about the converter snout adapter, I think there are two...

Yeah, that's one of the major selling points for the Turbo Lamik to me. That and the trans brake.

    318/8 Speed Swap

I'll also be doing an 8HP70 swap, picking mine up from the junkyard tomorrow. It's going on the back of a 360 magnum, and I'll be getting a flexplate from JVX racing. Still deciding how I'm going to control it but I'm leaning towards the Turbo Lamik controller.

The pentastar v6 has the same bellhousing pattern as the small blocks and gen 3 hemis, correct? I can get an 845re for a couple hundred bucks locally, I might be inclined to do some tinkering.

    67 charger Rear end?

Dr. Diff can hook you up with a rebuild kit. If you're already moving the perches in you might as well put an offset shackle and hanger kit on there too. It'll give you an extra inch or so of clearance. You can get one of those through Dr. Diff as well.

    67 charger Rear end?

If you leave the axle stock length you DO NOT need custom wheels, in fact there's probably more options going this route as most modern vehicles utilize much more backspacing than older vehicles. This helps especially when you want to upsize to 17"+ wheel sizes.

    8 3/4 Refurb Question

Hey all, I've started to refurb a 8 3/4 housing I've had lying around for a while. I banged out all the studs and twisted off the brake line vent/tee, next I'm gunna sandblast the outside and paint it. Question is, is this piece in the axle tube supposed to stay in or is it...

    8 3/4 B to A swap

What year Dart is it going in? People put earlier B-body axles in A-bodies without shortening them quite often. The wider axle allows them to run a wider wheel/tire with a more modern offset wheel. Thats the route I'm going.
