Today, Friday MATS is a rain out. Doesn't look like it will clear up today.

I don't know, the weather turned to s*!t today. Big change for Friday & Saturday. We will see. Can't do anything. Mother Nature does what she wants.

30% chance of rain on Friday. Windy Friday, nothing out of normal for the LVMS. Saturday Looks good, sunny near 70 *.Sunday also. Yeah, I've seen all four seasons during a MATS weekend.

Are the guys that sleep in their beaters and or party in the parking lots all night long.

I think they started the Power Tour back in 1995,maybe 1994. I did 8 Long Hauls in a row. Four different cars. Skipped a year or two and then my last was in 2007. Back then it was California to Ohio,Tennessee, Maybe Atlanta for the conclusion.Ten days back then. Really don't remember.Lots of fun...

I haven't heard of any yet. In the past there was Salt Lake to Vegas, a Phoenix, a Colorado run. If I hear of any I'll post it. I signed up yesterday for the project car area.

Yeah, had it all set up with linelock, driveshaft loop, slicks etc. I swapped out the 4.10's for 2.76 .Made a few changes,full exhaust and installed A/C. Just a streeter now. Still a fun car.

I gave up after trying for 5 years. Something always stopped me be it health,family,covid,parts etc. Built my car specifically just for it too.

I Mopared across the country in several cars over the years, always a fun time. I lent my 63 Valiant to a friend to do a long distant drive from Nevada to Pennsylvania. He and his father who was in his 80's at the time.They had a blast and he was forever grateful spending time with his dad.

Rt 66 Fun Run in Kingman Az is the 5th-7th in May. 166 mile round trip. One month too soon before you leave. :(

I went back in the mid 90's and visited the school. Had a talk with the administrator. Showed me around to see the changes. Good school. I made a career out of that schoolin' ! It would be fun to go again. Gotta be in AZ on that date.:(

For years I raced in the Slant Six class all over the country. Never ever had a problem with anybody.The comradery was the best I ever experienced. I sure miss it.
