Thanks DFX 340 Duster. The suppressor bolts under one of the bolts that holds the coil bracket to the intake manifold. Sorry if I was not clear. ~Michael

It is a radio noise suppressor. It is supposed to be there. The u shaped end should be under one of the coil hold down bolts. ~Michael

It should have an eyelet on it to fasten on the alternator stud. ~Michael

The rev limiter did step in. The Park/Neutral rev limited on a 03 PT is 3,980 RPM. The only way to get past that is to reprogram the ECM. Now on to the miss. How many miles on the car? Any modifications? Any maintenance? ~Michael

I think 73AbodEE hit the nail right on the head. Your power feed to the radio is coming from the key in switch warning buzzer. ~Michael
