Al...Chuck Norris blindfolded with one finger on a manual box...lol
I’ll tell ya I have PS in 74 Dart and 72 Demon. Both are pretty quick cars and they steerbeyond smooth....a little scary in the Demon as you react to the car under hard accel. The 72 Swinger has manual rack and pinion. Stiff at...
I put TTI on my 72 Dart with the HDK set up with rack and pinion, MS/MB and column shift. Extra room is a relative term as you clear your way back to the collectors. I ran into some figment issues with shifter linkage on the Dart. Had to massage a tube to clear the extension I put on for the...
I kinda wish I would have been tracking on this before I put the front end together, considering I tore the Demon down to a shell and had the front end out for six months!
I asked the same question and took it a step further in asking about spring selection in my Demon build. No responses yet. Look at US Car tools kit. I am in the middle of their mini tub kit install now.

As a newbie it was a bit like watching a monkey F:(& a football putting the HDK under the 72 Swinger...thanks Denny for answering 50 questions, calls, emails and pics on that. Picking up a V8 front suspension this week for the Demon.....you ready for another 50 questions?

Super nice. There is a little duster on down the road from me. When I finish what I am working on now, cut back from 14 hour days to 12, get older 2 of the 6 kids to college, and build a new shop....then I might be ready for that.
Motor in, wildwood brakes on order, selected 205/60 on stock police steelies. Will see where it sits. Hoping it is a roller by January.
