Sorry to those of you who mentioned you would like one with a turbo on it..... I messed around with the image for over an hour and I just could not get a turbo to look right with the image. Also I am not sure if i mentioned it in this thread or not but I use a vinyl plotter....not a vinyl...

Hey guys, this threads over a year old....I just seen it has been updated. If there was enough demand for certain ideas I might be able to make some stickers up for sale. I laid off of doing stickers a bit with all that has been going on recently but I have just recently been getting back...

not sure about others....but I know on my duster its a super tight fit.....my column is right in the way of the cluster. I could probably pull really hard and get it out but would either ruin my paint or snap my cluster in half in the process LOL. so Ill stick to lowering the column:thumleft:

yup, mine were cracked in 2 also....I ended up slipping each half back in and reusing them.

On my duster all I do is remove the plastic lower column trim cover (4 screws I think) then you should be able to see the 3 or 4 nuts holding the column bracket up in place (they have plastic rectangle retainers in the slots on the column bracket that the mounting studs slip through). I remove...

Mike, after cleaning your cap up (soak it in vinegar like was mentioned....the acid eats the rust away nicely) and if you find it is not in very good shape due to rust pitting or something....let me know, I think I have one sitting in an old pair of 67 318 covers I have sitting out in my garage.

pull the heads and have a valve job done. sounds like as mentioned that the valve guides have excessive wear and its allowing the valves to "tip" and the problem will only get worse over time and if you do not tackle the problem now....you could be looking at an entire engine...

I liked that run of designs I made up to....only problem is I don't have a vinyl printer so I couldnt pull that sticker off in full color.

Sorry I missed all your comments guys. I have been down with a cold and today is my B-day so I have been a little busy. as for the "slant" location.....being that it is a seperate sticker, you could place it anywhere you would like, rather it be in the 2 or under the 2 or after the 5 or...

thats the bummer part is that I have no black right now, just white and red. but I plan on getting some at the beginning of january.

Here is an Idea I was just messing around with. kind of like a wedge decal (wouldnt have to be a big hood sticker....it could be sized down to lets say put on a trunk or on your dash or something) Just an idea.

I make custom stickers but I can only do them in one solid color since I have a vinyl cutting plotter and not a vinyl cutter/printer. BUT maybe if a bunch of people jumped on the band wagon with orders.... member challengergary would be up for running off a line these stickers. you could avoid...

I did a little "reworking" on your idea....I think they looks pretty neat done up like this and would make for a good sticker. the ones with black text look good but I really like the ones with color. let me know what you guys think of the edit.

My 72 duster reads just over 2,000 but I can only assume 102,000.....BUT since engine is all brand new it has 0 miles on it. and once I finish the restore of the duster it will technically be a zero mile car too.

If a slant is what you are looking for than I guess thats not a bad deal. I would resell the trans to try and recoup some of the funds. as was mentioned before the 80's was low compression and detuned so you would be looking at piston/head work... swapping out to a performance intake and 4...

some good points have been made from vacume problems to carb problems...could be ignition problems or something....but I would start with a couple easy things. to me it sounds like it could be a couple things. since when first started it runs good and then gets worse.....that makes me think...
