Been awhile but I finally bought another A body. This is a 'Barn Find' that I picked up for a measley $200.00.1970 Dart Custom with 44k on the clock.
All gauges etc work, engines runs real nice exc for idle.
Body is VERY straight but time destroyed the seats and headliner.
Ugly green color but who cares.
Little slant six runs great down the highway but has a ruff idle I need to solve. The auto trans is so smooth if you are not looking for it you wouldn't notice the shifts.
Brakes are awesome and even the tires are very good. Been driving it freeway etc all day with zero problems.
All I have done is wash the exterior and change the oil so far.
There was never a radio in it because the fender has no hole for an antannae ( I don't know the spelling). The windshield washer bottle is toast too of course.
If there is any interest I will post a few pics later. I am planning on driving this car and restoring the drive train etc to use as adonor for a two door in the future. I hope the front clip will interchange too cause this one is beautiful, even the grill and poverty hubcaps with the red stripe are nice.
