I have a set of 273 rockers, but if you read carefully, I have EQ magnum heads. And empty OTB lifters fell right in without oil pressure.

Ive got KB flat top pistons with valve reliefs, EQ heads and 222/[email protected] roller cam. I dont have solid lifters so I cant measure the clearance, because the hydraulic lifters just collapse. What do you think, should I be worried about the clearance?

Hi, any experience about port matching eq heads? Is there enough material to grind about 2mm from the floor? That area sounds hollow and thin... I dont want to ruin anything.

Ok, so basicly with N/A engine best bang for the buck would be closed chamber heads with thicker gasket and possibly shaving the piston a bit? But if I want put a vortech blower or a turbo on it some day? Will the closed chamber still work??

I bought the intake Now ill just have to get throttlebody, pump, ecu, coils and lots of other stuff to get it work :D Im not in a hurry, 1,5 years and ill be driving my EFI-DI 340 powered Duster (sure hope so)

Yeah, the Performer does that, its good for stock 318 but 340 dies with it. If the engine really has stock-like pistons and is in good condition you should get close to 400hp (from the flywheel at least) with valvejob, cam and intake. Check the casting numbers from the heads. Ignition needs...

If you have Edelbrock Performer intake and not Performer Rpm theres one problem. The performer cuts your rpm to 5500, 340 can handle 6500-6900rpm. Yes, I found the missing number. So the castingnumber would be 3418915. Rebuilt cost´s alot of euros, I´ll put them back on as they are and keep saving money for new pair of heads. I Belive that they will get me thru next 2000 kilometres since the engine worked well before. Where could I find...
