I got the 2 installed pics from Mike Raby at TTI. The other pic is a TTI 3" exhaust system with Hooker Mufflers i have on my Duster now with dumps at the axle.

I want to run those tailpipes on my duster. But i have moved the springs in 1/2" With Dr diff kit, so they may need to be massaged?

I hung my mufflers on the rear seat belt bolts. i installed longer bolts though.

Not sure how much is different, but i have a low deck big block in my duster, car was a slant 6 with 904 trans.

I have a complete TTI 3" kit with x-pipe, fits perfect in my 71 duster with no issues whatsoever. i put the exhaust on at home on the garage floor. The entire kits sits up nice and high.

I have 525 hp 552 TQ, a 3" mandrel bent TTI exhaust with X pipe and 3" Hooker mufflers dumped at the rear axle. It has a nice big engine throaty sound to it with ZERO restrictions.

I hate the sound of flow masters, they have that rappy blue bottle sound to them. I run Hooker Aero chamber mufflers, have on all my performance cars.

I bought Bare TTI headers, took to local coating shop, 4 years ago. They installed their high heat thermal matt black. Still look like new.

3" TTI X Pipe kit and hooker muffs .

I have them on my 525hp 426 wedge, and they are loud as hell, lol dumps at the axle as well. TTI headers and 3" TTI Xpipe system. They quieten down once you get rolling, i have a .245/.251 duration solid lifter cam at .050, so it a bit lumpy. Had them on my BBC Camaro as well. I like the sound.

Honestly if you only plan to make 300-400 HP manifolds will be just fine. I have a B engine in my duster with TTI 1-3/4" headers, i can get all the plugs from the top except #6, and if i have to change the starter, i think the transmission has to come out. lol So i would stay with Manifolds.

Yes i have heard complaints of this/ not sure if its the medium they use or the process.

We have a local powder coater here in my city, and he has it available for $75.00 Canadian. He blasted my new bare TTI headers, coated them then put them in the big oven. 22 dyno pulls and two years in the car and they look brand new still. I read that John deer has a similar coating process.

Yes stay away from ceramic coating. Go with the black high heat thermal coating like they use on tractors. I have that on my TTI headers. Have heard a lot of guys complain about ceramic coated years later they fade and make the header brittle.

Buy at least 2" PRIMARY TUBE HEADER FOR THAT SIZE OF MOTOR.

Do you have a john deer dealer close by or any tractor dealer. They sell hi heat thermal coating for tractor exhaust that stuff works great.
