Should I leave the heater box out?

I removed the Vintage a/c and heater from my Signet and installed a Vintage heat box which is a very small unit maybe 12 x 10. It's a heat and defroster unit and the heat makes you sweat big time. It's 3 speeds and the best heater my car has ever had, cost around 200. Simple hookup to water...

Since my Signet is not stock by a long shot... I removed that long thing which turns me into a contortionist when needing to check anything under the dash and replaced it with a Vintage air " heater " a 12 inch box with throws out more heat on low than the stock heater on high. It's 3 speeds...

    water pump flow direction

Yeah Ted, someone made it alright, GM Generation II LT's "reverse cooling" system, allowing coolant to start at the heads and flow down through the block. This keeps the heads cooler, affording greater power through a higher compression ratio and greater spark advance at the same time it...

trying to find a replacement heater core that FITS!

I'll take a photo sometime today and yes, there is nothing sticking out of the firewall except for two hoses going to the engine. The whole unit is very compact and completely self sufficient.. BTW, my Signet is insulated well under the carpet and the carpet extends from under dash near the...

trying to find a replacement heater core that FITS!

I have a Vintage Heater in my 64 Signet, made by Vintage Air and I could not be happier. Its small, has 3 speeds and 2 defroster ducts. The unit is easily installed under the dash and the heater duct opens and closes automatically. This heater works fantastic and I hardly ever need it on high...

    Anyone Know Radiators?

Upgrading to an Aluminum radiator isn't really an upgrade if you can have your 3 core brass radiator rebuilt. Fact is Brass runs cooler than aluminum although aluminum is lighter than brass.. On another note, upgrading to an aluminum cross flow radiator seems to be the hot ticket..

radiator. what should i shop for?
