    Wheel adapters?

I said the same thing at about 17 years old. I then watched one of my front wheels bounce down the road as I grinded to a stop on my brake drum. Please, please, if you are doing this, get a BILLET set of the hubcentric versions. The cast aluminum ones are typically not hubcentric and they...

Best "budget" priced drag wheels out there? 15x12+

Hey guys, Looking for some big boy wheels that won't bankrupt me. Of course in love with welds and billett specialties, but budget dictates otherwise. If they were going to be 15x8's tons of "clone" options out there, and pretty attractive. BUT the powertour car has at minimum room for...

Recommend Tires for 2014 RAM 1500 Big Horn

Mastercraft is a copper tire substanciary. Look at the tread patterns and wear ratings as you compare. MC is probably cheaper, and identical. Friendly fyi.

Recommend Tires for 2014 RAM 1500 Big Horn

Master craft axt's or mxt's are what me, then my dad, then one of my buddies run on our rams. Made in ohio I believe. The stock goodyear's are junk. All ours were shot between 15 and 19k.

    65-67 B body 8 3/4 rear in 76 duster wheel/tire combo.

With a spring relocation I have a 10 inch wheel with 7.5 BS and 10.5 tires. Same width B rear. I have room to spare. Only 26 inch tall tires though...I would have to look at my height.

Widest tire on early b body rear end

I have a b body rear. 10 inch rims. I believe 8 inches of backspacing. Spring relocation. 10.5 slicks. No rubbing. Only 26 tall however. Straight shackles also.

    wheel adapter

I have a trashed fender handing on my shop wall to remind me how i feel about cast wheel adaptors... very good advice above...billet hubcentric, or save your $ and order new axles with the right BP....very wise words.

2016 Mustang rims? For 74 Duster

Considering the amount of NEW good looking wheels on the market for under $150 ea, and the fact that new decent tires can be had for $150 Ea... this seems like an overpriced deal for some used v6 mustang wheels. When you could spend the exact same, or even less for a set of wheels that WILL fit...

Here is a new look for me! Tell me what u think.

I don't mind the mustang wheels at all. Bet it handles alot better w/o the pizza cutters! Mine has skinnies, but it's a bracket car, and has 10.5's on the rear. If you're going skinnies, i think you need a fatter rear tire, so again I kinda like the mustang wheels. Especially for a driver...

Ok...how about *Shaved* BFG Radial T/As?

bingo...hard, non sticky, "Cruiser" tires that are great for any street car, and are happy to about 14.00 quarter mile times. I had a set on my dart way way back when it had a 318, and it would chirp the tires AT THE TRACK on the 1-2 shift....if thats any indication of how much grip they have...

Will 28" tires to 26" hurt my ET ?

exactly, and if your peak HP is at 5800, and you're already crossing at 6200, i can't see it helping you. MPH will probably drop a few as your final drive ratio is changed, and you will probably be nosing over across the line if not before. Sounds to me like you're about tapped out now at the...

    Front Tires Rub

Yes increasing ride height by cranking up the t bars will get you some additional clearance if you are rubbing on the fenders. But just depends how much clearance you need. Also depends what back spacing you have, as your track width may be wider than optimal.

Post your mini tubbed wheel and tire combos

I think he is just looking for reference? Not to copy a set up. Just like my oddball Setup with alot of backspacing and a B body rear...I just figured I would throw mine out there so someone else would know you dont have to chop down a B body rear if you measure backspacing properly...i don't...

Best reasonably priced wheels that are true

The summit quick 8's are a visual clone to the weld draglites. (they have a prostar version too. i have the summit quick 8's on the front of my car, and welds on the rear, and no one would ever know the diff besides the fact that they don't have the dual pattern drilled. they're cast...

    1973 wheel lug spacing???

you have a 4.5...you're measuring it wrong. you start from the outside of one stud, to the center of one across from it..meaning skip one. if you're getting 4.25 from center to center...the other half an inch is the half of the other stud you aren't including.
