I have a set of buckets out of my 62 Valiant, if you need some, these are great cores....foam and covers are garbage.

Thats awesome to see ! Lots of work there.How much over size do you make the parts to adjust for the shrinkage? I never took that into account, untill I asked a buddy about doing a 3D model of a slant 6 head, so I could shop around for a foundry.Shows how I dont know the field very well. Great...

Thats a great looking engine, and the car looks like it is coming along too. I think I posted a pic of my slant the last time......so I wont again. Congrats on the progress!!

Still say this is one of the cleanest and meanest builds todate!! I did a trade for a garret T4 turbo, thought about trying to add it into the slant 6 drag car ....maybe the rear would work, as I have way to much compression for the engine compartment in this engine.

I second the idea for an actual mechanical temp guage.I have them in my drag slant, and the 63....street slant.I may have an extra laying in the garage, so might have one for you. Nice avitar pic!! You gotta have a slanted sence of humer when you run an early toad!! My drag car is a 62...

Are you going to cut out the other hood from the bottom?My buddy did about the same thing w/ a 70 duster good, and it helped save weight when he did the cut out. Yours is looking sweet!! Nice to see the flatter hood cars get some love.
