How to roll without front steering or rotors

Many ways to include body casters. Largely depends on how heavy/completely assembled the car is. Right sized metal/fasteners/wheels, will let you roll just about any weight we are talking here, and also surface being rolled on. Body Casters - Rolling On - Mopar Muscle Magazine Again depends...

    340 id?

Head casting number further support the Alaskan_TA/ch1ll suggested W2 heads. “W Head The “W” series of small-block heads are high-performance heads. The W2 was introduced in the early 1970s. It was probably the best cast-iron small-block head for 40 years. The W2 has a casting number of...

cool old vid of 50s cars

That is cool. Unfortunately not as clean anymore. Did you notice you could have your own bomb shelter for a mere $795, and at that good 50’s quality construction.

    My Mopar mo-stache

Love it. I do the Movember health awareness thing every year, so maybe I will borrow your idea to raise awareness of my MOPAR love at the same time. Another idea is to do both the Mo-stache and my haircut like this so folks can get the message coming and going.

If you can’t buy it....MAKE IT!!

Looks like it might be a grade 5 bolt, if so uping to grade 8 would help durability.

    340 Motor mounts

Not disputing anything said, but given we are talking about 68-72 type mounts, fine thread would still apply based on info you shared. I trust Mr Sinister will do what he can to stay true to originality as much as possible.

    Replacement 340 motor mount brackets.

If you have or can get some 318 mounts, you can just modify them. Top pic is a proper 340 mount, second is a factory 318 mount, third is 318 with addition of a screwed on extension plate, and fourth is 318 with welded extension. Last pic is a before and after of a 318, mount cut narrowed...

How to free up fresh air vent door?

Yes, either screws or rivets work, key is distributing the force over a broader surface area on the box, since the material is not metal and tends to crack/break more easily than metal would in areas of high usage like here. Good luck, and post some pics so we can see the before and after.

How to free up fresh air vent door?

That is great news. One tip on the reinstall, would be to add snug fitting washers to the rivet shaft, on the inside of the housing. This will avoid pull-through and insure a strong lasting attachment.

How to free up fresh air vent door?

I think if you have already been soaking it in WD40, things are not likely to get much better with other products. But if you do pursue this rout, you just have to gauge the amount of force applied, and not exceed more than can be handled by other areas to avoid damage. Real risk is as you are...

    Buying quality parts becoming impossible.

Well, here are only a few scary examples of how China is aiming to do just that. In many areas to include, Tech/Military/Etc. https://www.technologyreview.com/s/612617/china-is-racing-ahead-in-5g-heres-what-it-means/ China's military power may surpass the US's faster than you think, thanks to...

Nice old school attitude stance, looks like a 70 with some great handy work on that 69 grill. Is it just the wide wheels, or does it have a B-Body rear in it?

    1972 Nice 2Dr Plymouth Only $500

It is an hour plus from me, otherwise I would have already called, I see the steering wheel is still in it, I bet Drivetrain is also present given the freshly parked look. But if I call and find out it is as I suspect, I will end up with another car.

    1972 Nice 2Dr Plymouth Only $500

That is exactly why I posted it, cars for the derby should only be of a quality commanding a $100. This one is way too good a condition to end up being a derby car, so $500 is a good price for a car which looks to have recently been parked based on clean tires not flat, or burred in the dirt, no...

    Aluminum Intake Shipping Weight/Cost?

I have had times when USPS counter staff do not accept flat rate packages if they are at all distorted past their dimensions. I have gone to one and it is rejected, gone right over to another, and it is accepted. They are not obligated to take it if content does not “fit”, is what I was told...
