Does anyone know who sells the cloth windlace to go around the rear side windows in my '65 Dart Sedan? I bought the cloth & rubber front door seals from Classic Ind. a few years back but I don't really want to buy another front set at $175.00 to cut up for my rear windows.

I book marked their website. I already ordered the $19.00 stuff but I'm thinking about getting this stuff. Looks really good for the cost. Thanks.

Was looking around online for some headliner insulation for my '65 Dart and all I could find for pre '67 A-bodies was for 64-66 Barracuda's. I'm figuring I could probably use this (only 19 bucks), what do you think? Also what was the purpose of the sailboard cards? Are they there just to give a...

Yup. Got some hose at advanced auto that fit the dash and reduced it with some smaller stuff I had. Defroster works good now. Thanks.

I'm guessing that the 2" outlet off the heater box goes to the passenger side and the 2 1/4" goes to the driver's side?

Checked them out on e-bay and they did have a complete set for a '65. Kind of pricey but what the hell, I've got so much $$$$ into it now why stop!!! :D

Checked out the website, the only "A Body" splash shield gasket they had was the headlight splash shield gasket for a '66 Barracuda / Valiant. I do need this one but I think it's different on a '65 due to the front fender change in '66. Thanks.

I have no leaks from the cap when driving but overflows when filling up even with the "no lead" flapper door installed?????? I'm going to try a few things, maybe the washer like your talking about. my '65 filler tube has a vent line that runs from the tank to the filler tube but it still...

These flapper doors do nothing to help with back flushing when filling up. I put one in a while ago, did nothing.

I bought one of those Sentry flapper doors a while ago and it did nothing to stop the back flushing when filling up. I drive 40 miles each way to/from work and would really like to fix this problem so I wouldn't have to get gas all the time.

I have no leaks when I'm driving but when I'm filling up at the gas station it pours out when it gets full and doesn't stop the pump. I've tried to fill it slow an listen to it but it always back flushes out and down the rear quarter.:banghead: This is such a pain in the a$$!!!!

Here's mine before and now getting fixed after being T-boned. Gonna paint it the original Dark Blue Poly that it came with from the factory.

Can someone post or pm me a picture of the rear side window on a '65 Dart sedan (post car) taken from the inside? I need a good picture to see if I'm missing somthing from my inside window trim. If it's of a different year or model that used the same trim that would be ok. Thanks.

I don't think it's a silly thing. My 65 Dart is my daily driver (except when the snow hits) and early in the morning when I'm driving to work and it's cold or raining my back window would fog up. My car had the FACTORY cut outs, two for speakers an the middle one for for the rear window unit so...

My '65 is my daily driver. 30 miles each way to and from work and any other places I have to go. Slant 6,no power drums all the way around & no power steering. I park it once the snow starts or the de-icing crap they put on the roads here would rot it out in no time.

You can find the parts if you don't mind searching. I bought a front fender and a door from a guy in Washington and Arizona. Had them ship them East on Greyhound. A lot cheeper than UPS or FedEx for big items.

I bought a aftermarket ground strap for my '65 and it broke when I tried to snap it on!!!! so I took a piece of wire and a couple of hose clamps and hooked the wire to the sending unit fuel line nipple and the other end to the steel line fuel line. gauge has been working great for almost a year...

If I took the filler tube out and welded in a plate with a smaller hole for the unleaded pump nozzel do you think that would solve the problem? That would be easy enough to do. My wife has a 2007 Dodge Nitro that does the same thing. She doesn't fill it anymore.
