10 2.5" drums are they all the same?

In my case wondering if I put drums on a 66 B-body 8 3/4 rear, will any 10 x 2.5 drums work? I see there are lots of options, year by year. Are the drums on say a 75 duster the same? The finned drums on a later B-body? Are some drums lighter than others? Any Knowledge on the subject would be...

Fancy dust caps for unicast rotors? Anything?

Those BAER ones look cool, being a cheapskate I'll probably go with the Mr Gasket ones.

Fancy dust caps for unicast rotors? Anything?

Anyone know of any fancy options for grease caps for unicast rotor dust/grease caps? Willwoods have nice caps on their hubs, wondering if there's any nice looking options out there, or if I should try and turn something out of aluminum? I wont have center-caps on my wheels.

Might just leave the shields off, I definitely wont be doing much dirt road driving.

Disc brake cooling, anyone done any ducts, scoops or....?

I have had, with my old dart, especially with triple figure speeds, I was thinking because I don't have dust shields for the disc brake set up I'm putting on my 75 duster, about making scoops or something on some dust shields, that would direct cool air on them.

Disc brake cooling, anyone done any ducts, scoops or....?

Haven't got any dust shields for my disc brake set up so was thinking of making my own with a ducted cooling scoop or something. Anyone tried making something? Interested to see what crazy stuff anyones tried.

What mopar had 15/16 aluminum master cylinder?

Wonder why he doesn't just start with a factory 15/16 cylinder?

What mopar had 15/16 aluminum master cylinder?

Hadn't thought about that, I know when I threw the booster out of my old dart, the master cylinder accepted the manual push rod just had to buy the little rubber retainer. I would have thought they'd all be machined the same way, but I guess factory manual brakes pretty much disappeared after...

What mopar had 15/16 aluminum master cylinder?

Thinking this might be the go....for a Dakota. Right size bore, aluminum, and hopefully tank is as per photo. http://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.php?pk=309801&cc=1087343&jsn=766&jsn=766 Not the cheapest but not the dearest....

What mopar had 15/16 aluminum master cylinder?

I wonder if its an issue flipping the tank around front to back? The cylinder will face down in my car due to the rake, so don't really want a tank higher in the back.

What mopar had 15/16 aluminum master cylinder?

Thats why I want the 15/16 bore, so it's not so hard but further travel, but finding that bore with the level plastic tank on top seems to be the hard part.

What mopar had 15/16 aluminum master cylinder?

Looking for the light weight aluminum two bolt cylinders the later cars had, don't think any of the four bolt cylinders came in aluminum?

Is there any factory mopar that had the aluminum 15/16 master, looking for cheapest options out there.

10.98" rotors vs 11.8" worth swapping up?

Sounds like a good set up, and kind of what I was thinking, my dart which warped the rotors, had the smaller 15/16 cylinder, and a fair bit of travel on the pedal, but it stopped really well.

10.98" rotors vs 11.8" worth swapping up?

More like 165's maybe 185's on pizzacutters, but I've warped rotors in the past, just want something that stops well and hopefully doesn't warp after 120mph plus rapid stops.

10.98" rotors vs 11.8" worth swapping up?

Hi all, I'm going to put a factory disk brake set up in my duster, and am wondering if it's worth going to the larger rotors on a steep geared street strip car? I know both set ups are heavy, but has anyone notice a great improvement in braking with the 11.8" rotors? I want to use a manual...

Disc options for 73-76 drum spindle???

Hmmm, interesting kit, but I wonder why they use truck discs and a spindle/bearing adaptor? Aren't the later B body rotors a straight fit on to these spindles? The AR kit looked better, but Viper calipers aren't cheap either, any other ideas?

Disc options for 73-76 drum spindle???

Hi all. What disc options are out there for the 73 to 76 drum spindles? AR Engineering doesn't show their swaps on their web site anymore, are there other options? What other calipers can be used and who does the mounts? The cheaper the better. I'd think it would be easy to make an adaptor...

    Anyone tried Jeep 10 x 1 3/4 drums on 8 3/4 stock length axles?

No, read the first post, you can easily get 4" pattern drums, what I want to find is 4.5" drums the same dimensions so stock length axles and 10 x 1 3/4 brake hardware can be used.

    Anyone tried Jeep 10 x 1 3/4 drums on 8 3/4 stock length axles?

70's matadors, 70's and 80's CJ's, there are unfinned ones on 80-90'sCherokees too, but I thought the finned ones looked good. No way I can try one here in a hurry but maybe someone has.

    Anyone tried Jeep 10 x 1 3/4 drums on 8 3/4 stock length axles?

Anyone tried this or other similar sized brakes? The jeep one seems to have the right depth and offset to fit, and the center register should be the same size as mopar 4 1/2 pattern, plus they come in a finned design. Something to try?

10 inch drums are back in stock

10 inch drums are back in stock

Sorry to hijack, but this computer (webmarshal) won't let me get into the brake forum, but are the 10 x 1 3/4 ford drums the same (except for stud and center register) Wondering if they are useable for me wanting to keep all my new 10 x 1 3/4 brake stuff, but change the studs and axles? Anyone...

    small bolt disc's on a 74?

Thanks, UCAs are easy to find here, it would just be the spindles and KH brake setup that would be hard, australian valiants had a single piston slider set up I could use, but its easier/cheaper to get USA parts in my experience, especially replacement rotors.

    small bolt disc's on a 74?

Has anyone tried to swap a 74 small bolt drum car over to a small bolt disc set up? If so what did you use? I'm guessing what ever you use it will require a spindle swap.

Are '73+ 9"drums, same as earlier years?

Hi , knowledgeable mopar folk, can anyone tell me if the 1973 and later small bolt 9" drum set up on the slant six cars is the same as the earlier 67-72 years? I ask because the wilwood disk swap for 9" drums only lists the 67-72 years.
