No I am sorry I don't have an extra one, it was a master cylinder only.

I can see that the collar locks the rod into the back of the cylinder but what does the o ring do...

After watching the following video I can now see what that the rubber collar locks the rod inside of the back of the master cylinder but what does the o ring do, and where on the shaft does it go...

Do all new master cylinders have the recess to except the rubber sleeve.

So are you saying that the larger rubber collar needs to be put in the rear of the master cylinder then insert the rod, also should the rod be attached to the master cylinder before attaching the master cylinder to the firewall

I have a 1972 Duster Manual Brakes, I just replaced the Master Cylinder and need a picture on how to re-install Push rod parts, the push rod has a rod with a ball on the end a rubber o ring and a smaller spacer made of rubber, do I have to remove push rod from inside the car to put together...

I respect your comments, but the last message I left I stated that I am going to leave it alone and just put a nut on the stud. All is good here. And it would than take me hours after hours to replace the whole assembly, I just wanted a quick way to replace the one stud that is kinda short, like...

I will try and tread a nut on the stud, all I know is the stud does not protrude through the fire wall like the other 3 do. If the nut will start I will put some lock tight on and leave it alone. I was only asking before I install new master cylinder, looks like they are all seated inside just...

Thanks Bob, do you think I will have to remove the whole pedal assembly to replace the one stud, maybe hit it from the firewall side and it will pop out.

Kinda figured that you would, was hoping that you could hit the head of the bolt and then just press new one in place. Almost easier to cut bolt off, drill out hole and press fit new one in place.

I haven't got the kit yet but i would get it from : Mopar Aluminum Master Cylinder Kit I was told the old rod would work with this part.

Can someone tell me where to order a new cap and seal for the one I have, like I've said I have tried ebay and a few other but they all seem to be too small and if I have to order a whole new mc I will but id hate to do that. Raybestons MC36406 15/16" Bore will work I think.

Yea I understand but the hard part is finding the right size one's they have the same shape but always turn out to be to small and don't work, if you can tell me the part to order i'd be happy to give that a try, but like ive said I have ordered 2 - 4 different ones but all seem to be to small.
