    66 Cuda

Hey, the rear window trim and the front grill logo on your car. I'm guessing they are the "Fish" logo and not the Valiant "V" logos, correct? As far as I can tell you have one of the last of the 1st gen,1966 Barracudas built.

    66 Cuda

Same here. The polygraphite bushings are a little harder on the ride quality, but are better handling IMHO. Torsion bars & rear leafs I got from ESPO Springs & things, great people to deal with. I don't know anyone who does seats but most shops could make the buns if needed. do a Google...

    66 Cuda

Hey COSGIG, the Broadcast sheet's SO# shows 713 as the potential build date, July 13th. With the 273 being build on July 5th, could this be one of the last 1966 Barracudas to come out of Hamtramck? What was the last day of production there? WMCKUSICK, I'm not too far down I-395 from you. If...

Great Story & Great job on the car. You gotta let her drive it around the block and get her reaction on camera. I'm sure she will cry with happiness that you made good on your promise. WELL DONE!

Yeah, That's a real odd feeling walking away from the car, but a real cool feeling walking back to the coolest car in the parking lot. Kudos to you both on a job well done!

    Srt-68 Barracuda

DAMN! So close and yet so far. I'm with ya on the whole not rushing it part. Too much time, money, blood, sweat and tears into it to rush it. Just keep the pictures coming. Us FABO members need our rootbeer fix!

    Srt-68 Barracuda

You might be able to pull the tips out 1/2" to 3/4" but I'm guessing the chrome will crack. You're getting your cash back and got nothing to lose so why not try. Good luck and post pics.

Finally a break in the weather

I think the "89" part of the number is the diamerer of the bar. 0.89 inches. It matches a torsion bar guide i have that also fits if the engine casting number is correct. I'm guessing its a 440 cid engine. If so my guide shows that torsion bar correct for that engine.

    EVBC Prez's 1966 Barracuda

Thanks, it seems like it took forever to get it where it is now. Even with all the rust, I would do it again. See, this hobby is a sickness! I pulled the car outside to take some better shots.
