I know moneys tight but if you want to keep up you probably have to go Alterkation for the best handling to realisticly have a chance of kickin there ***.
Thanks guys for the info I dropped it off at strange engineering, about 20 minutes from my house. They're narrowing it down to 50 inches and new axle flanges, and hot tanking it for me, suppose to be done Friday.
Thanks waggin for that little bit of info I didn't Know that about the torsion bars. this is the last part of my disassembly. So in the spring I can get all the metal work done. Just ordered a new mig welder that should be in today and all my new shhet metal will be ordered as soon as the income...
What is the easiest way to remove the torsion bars and K-frame I'm a first timer starting to restore my first Mopar. 65 Cuda and this is the last of my dissasembly.
Can anyone tell me the easiest and safest way to remove the torsion bars and K-frame. I have a 65 Cuda and this is my last part of dissasembly. Thanks guys!
I have a 65 Cuda i'm mini-tubbing and I just picked up a Dana 60 housing for it. Can anyone tell me the best way to figure out the length I need to have the D60 narrowed to????? I plan to have wilwood rear discs and street lynx rear suspension.
Check out reillymotorsports they have a great system called street lynx that is great for handling. I'm actually in the process of saving for my Dana 60,Street Lynx suspension, and my Willwood disc brakes.
But I hope this helps and good luck with your project.
