    Dang Steve! I have pretty much everything you have except from Firm Feel Inc.....I cant wait to get it all together and try it. 70 Duster 408+6 w727. stage 2 PS box. Cal Tracs. My concern now is with the stock SBP axles....and factory 4 piston disc brakes.....Should I upgrade these too...

    If the roll pin is out already you may have to use two big screwdrivers or prybar to pry the coupler off the steering box...sometimes they are tight. I don't know what you are trying to do but manual steering box couplers are different size spline than a power steering box...IF you are...

    If it is...simply drive out the roll pin in the coupler...the column and coupler should pull off the box spline. Note..they are master splined when you go back together. You might have to use a pry bar to get the coupler off.....

    Do it right....get a column or shaft from a PS car...there are plenty in wreckers. What do you think would happen If you got into an accident with your column already collapsed?

    Don't bother with all the cutting and rewelding...use Wedges/shims IF you have to change your pinion angle due to ride height
