so again give it timing till kick back, just back it a degree till its happy no ping, i get all the tricks to do with our dizzy to get timing just right but one has to draw a fine what the engine want.i just dont care about all the tech about some thingssssss. let just have some FUN.
This is my build 360, 20 over bore,MP purple cam 477 lift 280 dur,340 J heads,headers,LD340 intake,600 Holley,323 gear.Has that lumpy idle from off idle to 5500 rpms she pulls real hard,works great.
750 is were I will go.Almost had my 600 sold today but this guy is running a 350 chev with after market intake with the rodchester bolt up.To bad.I think I will break in my 360 with the 600 than install the 750 laiter.
Ok my 600 holley on my 318 in my mind is not going to do the job on m,y new 360.I do want more cfms so I am leaning towards the 750 vac.I am good at tuneing thease carbs.I will jet down on the prims to 67 and 70 in the secs.What are you guys useing 650-750.

well the j heads are at a different shop now being rebuilt.I think at this point no planssss on cuting the heads ,I dont want to play with anything but who knows.
