The old girls has been put away on stands with a full tank of high test Shell gas and a bit of stabilizer and new oil and filter. Will oil the cylinders and pull the battery and put it on a tender and keep a bit of heat on in the garage over this damn Canadian winter. That should do the trick.

I have my 72 Swinger 340 Special that is my first car, I've had it for 41 years since high school, glad I still have it and it fills all my muscle car needs!

To be honest I don’t know the real reason, from what I know cars coded for wheels that you could see the rear drums got this splash of red paint just with a brush.

I would suggest you always go to a good paint sealant over a wax. They are much easier to apply, more chemical resistant and last longer then waxes and bond to the paint surface much better. I purchased some Last Coat sealant but haven’t tried it yet so I can’t attest to how good it is, there...

Went back but mostly for cosmetic reasons, except for intake, headers and aftermarket carb going away internals unchanged so likely down on power slightly but plenty enough go for me. Prefer the early 70's look over the late 70's early 80's look now,:D

A good tip, a least take a bunch of high quality pictures before taking these very hard to replace identifying plates and decals off. I didn’t want to disturb mine so I carefully masked it off and worked around it and my underhood option plate went straight into my safe with my build sheet.

1972 formal black 340 duster "survivor" I used demoore’s Survivor for reference for my restoration, he’s been very helpful if I had questions.

I painted mine but left the yoke natural with some bare metal protection, I think it only makes sense even if its not exactly correct.

I’ve been using this method with pretty good results, doesn’t work 100% of the time but surprisingly well and a whole lot better then a bare socket

I don't think I would like to work in most of the shops on TV but Mark's looks like a lot of fun and surrounded by great Mopars and guys mostly my age, count me in! I enjoy the show.
