    Paint stripper

I get Kleen Strip paint stripper at ace hardware, and it has worked on everything really well.

Yep, pipe wrench on the yoke with a socket and breaker bar on the nut with the floor jack under the breaker bar.

    Drill Bit Sharpener....

I also use the fine stone on the bench grinder. Doing it that way lets me make the bit cut how I want it to.

    Oil on your hedders?

Maybe a non issue to you, but I for one don’t like cooked oil stains on my aluminized tubes.

    Oil on your hedders?

For some reason I always feel the need to explain what I use them for. They probably think I’m lying anyway.:D

    Oil on your hedders?

No I don’t pee the bed (yet):D I use these when I change oil filters on small block Mopars with hedders. Just lay one absorbent side up (plastic side down) over my down tubes to stop oil from getting on them. Once the filter is off and the mounting surface is wiped off, just fold it up an toss...

Heard of "Wilde" snap ring pliers?

Varied types of those are what I used doing stick shift transmissions. The snap rings on those are about 1/8 inch thick and sharp pointed on the ends where the pliers get ahold to spread them open.

    Depends Bed Pads

Yea sorry, as I forget that sometimes common sense has to be pointed out. LOL

    Depends Bed Pads

No, no, I know what you are thinking.:D I cleaned out a property for a pending sale and thought I might be able to use these for something. They are water proof on one side and absorbent on the other. Turns out they work great for keeping oil off your headers when removing your oil filter during...

Broadband in America from an insider.

****, we barely have decent pavement to drive on and ZERO sidewalks or curbs except the brand new sub divisions and right down town where the stores and tourists go. Fiber available to the general public? Pshaw.:D

A Fender Cover Mod That Works.

This is one of my video’s from my YouTube channel Mopars4us about how and why I mod the fender covers I use.

Found another good double stick tape.

It feels and acts like a Gorilla product. (Which is a good thing)

Found another good double stick tape.

I normally use 3M clear double stick tape for emblems and other small detail parts that mount surface to surface. The other day I found this stuff in the general office supply section at Walmart. Works as well or maybe better than the 3M stuff that I normally have to order WAY more than I need...

    New tool addition

Any correlation to your username? Never done that before, but I did have a battery explode right in my face once when an extension rolled into the positive post and the fender. Luckily someone grabbed me by the shirt and got me to a faucet, because I couldn’t see ****.

    New tool addition

I see you have a lot of good suggestions, but if you don’t have a radiator pressure test set they are priceless. Not only can it be used for radiator and cooling system pressure testing, they can tell you if you have blown/leaking head gaskets or cracked heads. Multiple times I have seen a head...

    New toy

That's the exact machine I got not long ago, and I love it. BTW, you will want to replace that cheesy gas hose. I think it cost me about 6-7 bucks for a good one 6 feet long at the local welding supply. My Son in law hooked a foot on it and ripped it right off the gauges.:poke::D

    About fender covers.

Ever had close contact with a hard drive magnet? You get two of those close together and you'll have blood blisters on your fingers.:D They are nice and flat though and would work good for that.

    About fender covers.

Oh I got it, thanks. I like my motor to respond in specific ways under different conditions and I'm really picky about it.:D Don't get me wrong, plug readings are great for a generalization of running condition. The driving experience and streetability the plugs don't show.

    About fender covers.

Thank you. This is what I would like to know from other people who love the hobby and watch TV or the Net on the subject. BTW, I posted a poll about this specifically.:D

    About fender covers.

Any thoughts on the Youtube part of the post? What do you like to see people doing when you watch a car related video? (besides massive burnouts):D Thanks

    About fender covers.

Some already know I have a thing about using fender covers, and a thing about people who don't. When I work under the hood I use them, especially on cars that actually have a paint job. Well, one of the things I always disliked about them was depending on what the fenders are shaped like they...

    Mig welder

We have one of those big a** bottles (about 5 feet tall) and I have to use a furniture dolly to move it. Get a small bottle and a transfer hose to fill it with off the big one. You'll almost forget where the welding supply store is.

    Mig welder

I bought that exact welder almost a year ago and it has been flawless. I have done not only body metal with it, but spring perches and steel up to 1/4 inch. Nice machine for general purpose around the shop and house stuff. I got two of the 25 foot super duty cords, the auto darkening helmet and...

Best Penetrant to Remove Differential U-Bolts?

This is the ticket right here, no matter what lube you use. I use a drill with about a 3 inch round wire brush to clean the threads before removing the nuts. Note that I just did three cars of U bolts and they all came off easy with cleaned threads. Didn't break or trash threads on any of them.

    Today's Aerosol's are crap

As mentioned shaking the crap out of the can before use will make a big difference. Turning them upside down and a short spray till no more paint comes out is important. I have lots of spray and don't usually have much of a problem. The ones I do have problems with, I puncture the can, let it...

    Wheel Bearing Packer

That's the problem I have with them. Bigger mess than they are worth, and you can't trust that there isn't any contaminants in the grease unless you seal them up in something or clean them first every time. Not worth it to me.

4 post lift vs. 2 post lift. Pros and Cons.

I used a two post for decades and never had a problem with balancing a vehicle no matter what I was doing. It just takes a little common sense when placing the arms. Never had an arm come off during any work, but I have had one arm not be in as solid of contact with the vehicle due to different...
