    Drag Week Unlimited Duster

One of the sickest I've seen to date!
  2. USCG CHARGER

Anyone up for a track rental in OCT?

Yup I like both of those tracks.
  3. USCG CHARGER

Anyone up for a track rental in OCT?

I didn't say we had to do it in VA.. if the majority are from the NE then we can do ATCO or something like that.
  4. USCG CHARGER

Anyone up for a track rental in OCT?

No one? ok.. I'm taking my toys and going home! lol
  5. USCG CHARGER

Anyone up for a track rental in OCT?

I live in VA where there are several nice tracks that can be rented out for about $100 per car. I'd like to get a consensus on a general location so I can start the leg work on getting us the track. I'm we could make a cool day out of the event. What are your thoughts?
  6. USCG CHARGER

1st time at the track advice.

Cuda, I would get some MT drag radials.. I can tell you that your going to blow the tires off with those S/R's. I'm going to buy a set of those S/R but use them for the street only. If it were me I'd have two sets of wheels and tires one for the street and one for the strip. As of now I'm...
  7. USCG CHARGER

1st time at the track advice.

I'd do some 1/8 mile passes first so you can get used to the suspension and what the car wants to do.
  8. USCG CHARGER

    Drag Week Unlimited Duster

Like I said before that is the baddest mopar I have ever seen! What fuel system are you running? Also when driving the car on the streets for drag week do you change out springs or how do you keep the valve train in good working order?
  9. USCG CHARGER

    Drag Week Unlimited Duster

Looks like a nice budget build..... J/king, go get em man.. that thing in sick!

Rms street lynx vs. back half parallel 4 link

Bingo.. that's exactly what was described to me by my chassis guy who fabbed up mine...

    **Pro Street Ladder Bars???**

Mad why are your bottom bars not parallel with the deck? I was told that it's a good rule of thumb? Denny, We welded a 1/4" plate along the rail where both cross bars are.. as far as upper bars rippin out???? well lots of fast cars have this identical set up as I have so I guess we will see.

    **Pro Street Ladder Bars???**

lol.. nice.. I really enjoy reading ur post... never know which way your heading.. on the same note.. sleeping in is not in my MO... Remember I'm a military man who gets up before the sun comes up and puts in miles and miles before most are getting up for their morning piss.
  13. USCG CHARGER

    **Pro Street Ladder Bars???**

Denny you are correct... but if you want to drive ur hot rod on the street ladder bars and true four links are not user friendly.
  14. USCG CHARGER

    **Pro Street Ladder Bars???**

My buddy designed a tri-4 link for my car.. custom deal.. very similar to what the mustangs have... Tons of fox body rustangs running around in the 8's with this same set up.. we put the coil overs behind the axles. We would have love to run them straight up but room was a limiting factor so we...

  17. USCG CHARGER

What can I expect it to run?

Getting closer... hoping to fire it up next wk and get some 60' shots.
  18. USCG CHARGER

What can I expect it to run?

Mopar, Yes it the exact same engine.. however my heads and cam are actually better than what his are... I'll let you know about the TC as I'm curious as well now.
  19. USCG CHARGER

What can I expect it to run?

Moper, This same unit has seen 18psi at 6450 rpm in a 4400lb challenger (2008) running 9.50's I know conservatively my build on motor will make 420 RWHP all day... add 10 psi to that and I'm over 600rwhp. PTC built this TC to flash at 3500 depending on my hp and tq levels.. I guessing my car...
  20. USCG CHARGER

What can I expect it to run?

I know turbo cars are not the same as this twin screw Kenne Bell... however I'm just going on gear ratio, tire size, and tranny gear to determine that I should be crossing the line at around 6700 which is about where I want to be.
  21. USCG CHARGER

What can I expect it to run?

PTC built the TC for boost so hopefully it will preform as expected... The trans is built to survive as well... what do you mean by more gear? I had 4.10's but seeing what others were doing with this instant boost of the twin screw Kenne Bell I figured 3.50 would be more suitable. Yes like...

What can I expect it to run?

Yup ur math is wrong.. Lol
  23. USCG CHARGER

What can I expect it to run?

Agreed, however I have a 9 sec goal with the car( which I'm thinking is very doable) and be able to drive the mess out of it.
  24. USCG CHARGER

What can I expect it to run?

4.2 is huge.. challengers running arounf with my same setup running 18 lbs are ETing 9.50 in a 4400 lbs car... that's pretty damn fast. lol Take 1000 off that spin it to what ever we want, we have superior suspension and your in the 8's!
  25. USCG CHARGER

What can I expect it to run?

Well I can't see why it wouldn't be in the 625-650 RWHP range at 10 lbs.. on motor with heads and cam it should easily make 400-425 RWHP so add 10 lbs on that... now we are talking... these are numbers that I see from people with very similar combos in the Charger, 300, challenger community.
  26. USCG CHARGER

What can I expect it to run?

If I'm not in the 10's that would be epic fail! lol.. not really but the Lx and LY platform cars running 10 lbs of boost are making mid 650 rwhp and running 10.6's all day at 4400 lbs..lol
  27. USCG CHARGER

What can I expect it to run?

I read a thread on here the other day that said factory 68 Dart weight was 3050 or something like that? If I can get down to 3100-3200 and make 630ish RWHP then I'm in the 9's with a coffee getter! lol
  28. USCG CHARGER

What can I expect it to run?

Some how I knew you would be the 1st...Coffee getter..YES! I will drive this car a lot.. I'm will get my money out of it for sure! 4.30 for the strip with a S/C that spools instantly is a little much. Tires are 28". Not sure on the weight.. I know I save some 70 lbs with the front suspension and...
