If none of that works give it some heat with a propane torch, but don't get it too hot to deform the brass fitting. If all else falls pre bent lines are not expensive (and yours look pretty crusty) l have an extra set if you're interested. Cut the tube an then remove it by loosening the brass...

You don't want one that is pressurised, it's mainly used as a catch can so it won't spew on the ground (antifreeze is pretty toxic! ).

I would go on amazon Amazon.com : coolant overflow tank and find one, some times you can find one in there warehouse deal for $5, I did.

I would imagine that the distrubion of air would be pretty much the same as long as the air is actually moving through the veins of the radiator. So I don't think it matters.

Would it be better to have a seal around it?
