Trigger wire is definitely in the wrong place...you mentioned IGN1 and IGN2... Ive found the blue provides power in "on" position but goes off when moved to "START" , the brown wire is the opposite... are you implying that I can connect the two and use that as the trigger or did I misread your...

Hi there MSD distributor, box mounted inside...Battery cable from rear to a pole under dash, from here it powers new fuse box, MSD box, battery line to starter motor and powers factory starter relay thats been moved inside also..Factory ignition switch, tapped the hot wire in the "start"...

I was going to run the battery cable to a pole under the dash, that goes through the firewall also...Power starter from engine bay side and alternator wire to this pole in the engine bay also ( Im looking at "hiding the wiring")...The bulkhead fitting will be under the dash and all the wiring...

Im fitting relays to my headlight circuit. Does it matter how far from the headlight the relay is? Want to be fitting them under dash and running cable forward...For the record Im probably going LED ...Plan B is something on the front of the rad support but hoping this is unnecessary.. Thoughts?

LHD still, and yes 68 Barracuda....new harness would probably make sense but it appears I wouldnt be using most of it anyway, dont need any of the alternator wiring, nor the water temp switch, the oil pressure switch , the distributor/coil wiring, thats all covered with the MSD, gauges all...

Started to tidy up the wiring in my Barracuda68 ....got to the bulkhead plugs and saw some daggy electrical tape hanging off the back of the plug...on further investigation I found this little gem ( see pic) . This raises questions....I tried to get the spade from the block to fix the RHS wire...

I just eased the fascia forward and undid the two hex screws with a 1/4 drive socket on a ratchet...installing is the same but as mentioned, not as much "fun"
