The smart move is to run it through a relay and an oil pressure switch. That way if there was a crash and the oil pressure dropped, the fuel quits pumping.

May as well do it. Most Chrysler parts were either GM or Ford primary parts. Take a closer look. For years I delivered parts to all of the Big 3. Being a "Purist" isn't what you think it is. Ford and GM generally engineered the parts, Mopar Co-Opted them for cash. Anyone who tells you otherwise...

I agree with Mopar Tim. I had that problem before. The fusible link gets soft when fried, but when it cools down from sitting, the rubbery sheath contracts and allows the wire to touch again. It's only needed to get started, so once it warms up from current and expands/ separates the circuit is...

I had the same problem. Turned out to be the ground wire on my battery. It had corrosion intertwined in the wire braid throughout, under the black plastic housing. it worked fine at idle and parked, but when i was driving it was a different story. I went through 3 regulators, a ballast resistor...
