    What rear gears are in the car? I ask because performance upgrades will inevitably decrease torque and driveability. Make the motor too peaky and you'll need some tall gears just to be able to drive around. First thing is to verify the block is square, don't trust what you don't know, check...

    How are you going to Inject it? That has been the torpedo for most. Ford 300ci 6 is a good candidate but distributor probs are the big hang up no matter what you try to use, unless aftermarket. :wack:

    Piston to valve/bore to valve clearance may be an issue especially if you go oversize. I'm sure you can find plenty of k1/weisco builds to get an idea. Sounds like an awesome build can't wait to see it.

    This. Plus the fact that if you try to get around it the plumbing can get ugly. Also with a turbo the initial buy in isn't so bad. I think the idea above of crossing under the motor to use passenger side "real estate" is the way to go. As far as size... It'll be hard to find something OEM...

    If you have the fab skills and/ or the money go turbo, if you don't like it you can v8 later.
