On my 69 I must have the turn signal in either direction and the e switch on for the flashers to work. My dad told all of the older cars he has ever seen worked this way. The lights did not receive any power unless the turn signal was in either direction.

Does anybody have pictures of where they added a ground wire to there cluster? None of my lights work on my 69 cuda and I have heard its from a lack of ground I have a new headlight switch in it and the fuse is good and most of the bulbs are good. Thanks for any help or advice

Your link isn't working can you post a picture of the one you are talking about.

Have you load tested the battery? 12-13v at idle with an old 1 wire alternator is fine. Dropping to 9 or 10 with the headlights on is not good but that could be from a bad battery.

My ignition and doors use the same key the glove box and trunk use a different one

I have a 1969 barracuda with a 318 single wire alternator. I'm only getting 12.2v out of the alternator I have went through the wiring and replaced the alternator and regulator and I got no change. Does anybody have any suggestions?
